Welcome to the site of the Potteries Omnibus Preservation Society (POPS), a charity which was formed in 1977 to preserve and restore former PMT buses. PMT?! It actually stands for Potteries Motor Traction.
Society Meetings take place monthly to keep the membership informed and are followed by entertainment in the form of photos, DVDs or a guest speaker. If you would like to place an advertisement in our magazine, transport rally or running day programmes please make enquiries using the ‘Contact’ page of this website.
Subscription rates have remained the same in recent years:
Adult Member: £20.00
Junior Member: £10.00
Joint Members: £30.00
We value subscriptions as they contribute towards the restoration and storage costs incurred by the society’s buses. Membership Application forms are available on request. Please email via the ‘Contact’ page or send a SAE to:
c/o 58 Newcastle Street
